Five for Friday & A Poppy Pod Bouquet Card
Hello everyone! Happy Friday! I drew the flower pod in our Flower Circles Stamp Set with a poppy pod in mind. It makes me smile every time I see it in use. This week's Five for Friday, I'm sharing some love for poppy pods.

I like how Michelle describes the poppy pods: they are "like little jewels of the garden".

2. Cut-out closely following the stamp. Don't worry if you have white edges, the inking will cover them all up. Color the bottom half with Evergreen Bough distress ink.
3. Color the top portion with Peacock Feathers distress ink. Blend together. Add more color if needed.
4. Cut thin stripes of white cardstock (about 1/8") and color as shown below for the stems.
5. Adhere to card with foam adhesive for dimension.
Easy, right? I don't use my distress inks often but every time I use them, I am impressed with the results :) I had a lot of fun making this card!

How-tos
Here is how to create this look: 1. Stamp 5 pods on some scrap piece of white cardstock, using Peeled Paint distress ink.
