This is the original version of our Shader Brushes 1. They are only available while supplies last. The new version is the Shader 1+

These brushes allow you to achieve beautiful results using a variety of techniques from laying down multiple layers of color to defining edges to shading. For best results, apply in a "drag-n-lift" or "flicking" motion.

We recommend dedicating each brush to similar colors and dab off the excess ink on some scrap paper in between usage. These brushes are also washable with mild soap and under running water - be sure to keep the brushes pointing down to avoid water running into the barrel. Wooden handle might expand that could cause cracks on the paint during temperature/humidity change.

I have actually thrown away stencils because I couldn't use them with my larger blender brushes. (I know, I know, but hasty actions made in the heat of the moment rarely turn out well.) Know I can use these smaller brushes when I have smaller, detailed stencils.

Love These Shader Brushes

I'm over the moon for these shader brushes. I have used them for those small stencil areas and for ink blending on embossed images. The bristles are soft but sturdy so they don't go where I don't want them to be. They pick up and hold ink well and are easy to clean. I have a brush for each color family and reach for them often. I also have the other sizes and use them frequently as well. Love the design and quality of the brushes.

Great for small stencil holes!

I like to stencil my envelopes to add a little something extra to my crafted cards. I was using the finger foams to stencil the small areas but sometimes the color would bleed into adjacent areas if I didn’t block them off. With these you don’t have to constantly block adjoining areas so it’s much easier and faster! Great tool!
